LEPr is a focus group formed by life expectancy providers to develop standards of best practices and performance reporting for longevity market participants that may benefit from life expectancy and mortality information. The information provided by the LEPr group represents the most important inputs for valuing a life insurance policy being considered for sale in the secondary life settlement market. The LEPr group created the first industry best practices standards for the life expectancy providers. The members of the LEPr focus group consist of AUS, AVS, LSI, ISC, and 21st Services.
LSI is a member of the LISA organization. LISA is the nation’s oldest and largest organization representing participants in the Settlement Industry with a current membership of over 100 Companies, doing business in all fifty states and the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Founded in 1995, membership consists of Brokers, Providers, Financing Entities, and Service Providers to the industry. The mission of the organization is to promote the development, integrity and reputation of the life settlement industry and to promote competition in the market.
